Florence Butlen-Ducuing

Florence Butlen-Ducuing has a background in clinical psychiatry as well as in neurosciences. She worked at the teaching hospital and the medical school in Paris-France before joining the European Medicines Agency (EMA) where she is currently a Scientific Senior Specialist in Psychiatry and Mental Health in the Human Medicines Division.One of her scientific and regulatory topics of interest is to try and understand better how to overcome the challenges faced by clinical trials in the field of psychiatry,  in order to foster innovation and develop better, safer and more personalized treatments for patients with mental disorders.
